I wonder how they will follow up the Squeal, will it be a Squeal, a Prequel, a Spin-Off?! But if it is a True Squeal I wonder how the Kaiju threat will come since the Breach is now gone!? Same goes with the Animated Series too, but Indeed no matter what they choice this sounds Exciting! =)

Totally Know how you Feel Angilasman, I have been a Godzilla fan for Nearly my whole Life, 24 years of my life since I was around 7 years old! Combine that with most any Giant Monster, Robot, Alien, Demon, Sea Creature, you name it movie/show, they where was All Awesome in their own ways!

Now you have a Re-Emergence of this Sci-Fi Movie Style thanks to Pacific Rim, Clooverfield and Godzilla 2014 and with them it is spawning these new multi-movie deals and shows, indeed we are heading for a New Age of Giant Monsters Indeed!

The Animated Series I was think of the same, during the time right after the Breach came and giving us the story of the Jeager Dawn and the 1st Kaiju's and how the world evolved to meet the threat! I am wonder what kind of Animated Style we will have too, CGI, an America Style, an Anime Style, a blend of some together or a new form of Animation?!

Indeed it will be interesting to watch the process Angilasman. ;-)

While I'm excited for a sequel, I'm really put off by Zak Penn being attached.

I'm also excited with the concept of a cartoon. I've been saying PR would make a good one since the movie released. It's a property that's tailor made for cross media pollination.

Hell, now that Whedon is the It Guy in Hollywood, they could give us a sequel to Serenity. If we can have a Riddick sequel then why not?

But would the majority of ground left to explore after Serenity not have been covered through the various comics?

Or, would you then set the sequel sometime long after the original, around the time the comics might be now?

Or, would tghe attraction simply be, this continuity, mythos, characters, on the big screen, in live action, like comics and books wouldn't be enough for a friend of mine, on post ROTJ, when the crew were younger?
