That sucks.

I don't like Millar getting chummy with that kind of crowd. He really understands and respects Superman, would have loved to see him return to the character.

DC nowadays seem to hand Superman miniseries to writers who don't really care for him so it would have been nice to see finally a Superman fan writing a miniseries for him.

Has Millar ever been outspoken on the whole "culture war" stuff in entertainment media? It wouldn't be surprising if Millar speaks since he believes the pendulum is swinging the other way.

Yes, he made some statement a couple months ago. He talked about cancel culture ruining comedies and things like that.
