Really? CBR didn't even took the time, after all this time Brian has been recruitable in the game, to check if he was already gay in the comics? However, it turns out the age of the characters isn't the only thing that's different in the game's world.
Well, he is.
Brian Falsworth/Union Jack II
Everything Lives!
Was really close to recruiting him before the time limit ran out...
Come on, CBR, you can do your research better than that...
The game's first gay character. Limited event.
Ugh!
They couldn't even make him insta-buyable like Captain Britain. Not that it matters as appearantly the day I started the game was the last day he was available. I only got the game because I learned he was available in it.

Of course all gay guys wanna go dancing, right?
Last word out of your sorry mouth will be SIR and it will be LOUD!!
The story is less that they made Union Jack gay than it is they chose to use the gay Union Jack (over the two straight options, both of which have higher profiles). Kudos to the game. I don't play it, but hearing this made me happy.
Shades of Jim Carrey's old "Overly Confident Gay Guy" sketch from In Living Color.
I'm gay. I also enjoy dancing.Of course all gay guys wanna go dancing, right?
I think it's okay for a gay character to enjoy dancing
Yeah, this isn't something I'd necessarily expect everyone to know instantly. But really. Use Google. Type in Union Jack + Brian Falsworth.Really? CBR didn't even took the time, after all this time Brian has been recruitable in the game, to check if he was already gay in the comics?

This does seem kinda lazy on CBR's part.
They haven't even amended the article yet.
On another note, I'd really love to read a limited series set in the past by Marvel featuring Union Jack/Brian Falsworth and his boyfriend - the Destroyer/Roger Aubrey. Plenty of stories that could still be told about those two.
Kudos to them for including Brian in the game.
This really wasn't a gay thing. This game has every character go dancing all the time. It's kind of frustrating how often they do it. There are dozens of buildings with actions available and yet all they ever do is dance. And there have been previous dates before, and they've all gone dancing too.
Yeah, it's baffling that CBR writers can't be bothered to do just a small amount of research on comic books to know if a character being gay is new. Hell, I wouldn't even call it doing research when all you would have to do is type the name of the character to google and voila!
Even I knew that Brian Falshworth Union Jack is gay and I've never even read anything that had any of the multiple Union Jack characters in it.
lol, glad I'm not the only one who got that vibe off of those screen caps. It certainly does remind me of that character.
Man, and I thought the poor research on this one was just on sites that didn't relate to comics.
This is depressingly lazy.
