Pitch your own ideas for fighting games. They can be original or licensed games.

It's up to you to decide how much detail to go in. Concept, Roster, movesets, stages, etc.

Here's my first pitch

It would be a fighting game based on Shonen Jump Properties, with the option of a create a character. The character customization would be very diverse, with a wide variety of skills from the various series to choose from. There would also be a more limited option of modifying the existing characters.

The roster would be derived from taking the main characters of each series and a rival/Arch enemy for each of them. (With the Main Character having the option of having Multiple) For this Reason, the chracter distribution will be a bit wonky and even.

The controls would be thus

1 button each for a basic attacks (Close, Mid, Long), which can be combined with with D pad for specials
One button to use an item (Some characters will have an item equiped by default. Others won't.)
One button to use a special ability
One button to call in an assist character (Each playable character can come in as an assist character, and there will be an additional roster of assist characters)

There will be Close, Mid, and Long ranged Supermoves, as well as an assist Super move (The assist Super can only be done by playable characters, not the only-assist ones)

2D Fighting game developed by Capcom, would play more along the lines JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Darkstalkers games than Street Fighter.

So the game would be movie characters. Like, you'd have Quint from Jaws, and Quint would has moves like scratching a chalkboard that makes the enemy freeze in places while they're holding there ears for a moment. Like you do that move, and the sprite just switches to Quint sitting on a stool and a chalkboard just pops up behind him. Other moves would be things like, he can shoot a harpoon gun and stick you with up to three barrels to slow the other character down, probably a fishing pole move that pulls you close; and a Super that calls up the Orca to come up under the opponent, capsizes, and has them slide into the Sharks mouth. Character designs would be by Hirohiko Araki, and there would only be Japanes voices acting like in older fighting game because that just makes it funnier.

Could go for a Marvel Vs Weekly Shōnen Jump, a Marvel vs Weekly Shōnen Magazine would be cool too.

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen could make for a really cool fighting game, and Kevin O'Neill's Art style would set it apart from other fighting games in a big way while also just looking good.
