Depends on who you ask. I dont think so but even if I did for arguments sake, I still stand by it not being in poor taste for Jean to move on now.

I'm just trying to get a gauge here.
Because I really don't see how it's ok to date your daughter's ex. Or to try to get with your bestie's ex hubby.

But if you think it's okay - more power to you.
I wasn't taking those relationships in consideration. Storm is back with Black Panther.
It would be better if everyone forgot kurt and rachel, it's not like it took a lasting impact on comics. dammit guggemheim

Right, because wasn't Scott just going to walk away forever?

    (So dramatic, that guy)

Jean's involvement in that grave kiss is something that conveniently never seems to come up whenever that moment is discussed.
I get that Scott is a dick, but people act like he was flipping his soulmate the bird just because.

Anyway, I think I've alluded to the fact that I'm ok with Jean moving on.
It's finding a proper suitor that's tough. I hold her in high esteem, so no just any old Odinson will do.

    Unpopular opinion:

BP/Storm was started by Claremont Tha God and nothing morally or socially repugnant enough has happened between them to say they shouldn't be a thing.

That hasn't really been my experience.
But to be fair, it seems like a lot those discussions always boil down to 1 or 2 posters, so maybe I missed it.

    I liked 'Ro and T'Challa.
Their breakup/annulment was dumb, and I hate AvX.

When it is brought up it's usually a weakly raised point that's lost in the shuffle of more heated points.

I actually don't think that Disciple of Redd's opinion is unpopular, Storm/Black Panther seems to be a decently popular ship.

I don't believe it nor BP to be popular among us who mostly just read Marvel for the X-Men. Myself, I mostly like the visual and potential of it, more than what's on paenl already. Like many relationships, there is character work to be done to really exemplify why it should be, but I would like to see someone do those stories (preferably from Ro's perspective).

it's dumb but I just love the way they did it.

Can we also admit telling your former partner to live can imply a number of things, while making out over her grave after said death does a bit of a disservice. The staying dead thereafter didn't really leave a great lasting expression either.

honestly I can't think of a single character good enough for Jean.

    Sure.

    I happen to think that:

    1) “Living” in this instance meant being with Emma.
    2) Scott is so prone to dramatics, that if he’d walked away from Emma in that moment, he would’ve kept walking and never returned.

Which ultimately still makes it his fault, but the reason is different (I.e. not ‘to hell with my dead wife’).

Fair enough. I guess fans of each character worry they’ll be subsumed by the other?
