I knew that would be a good one lol Lots of people I know love the movie, and they always want me to watch & are shocked when I tell them I hate Ryan's version of the character.
Now call me when we get the more tragic & serious version of DP on film similar to Kelly or Duggan with a better actor, and I am sold.
Otherwise film Deadpool just seems like a raunchier Daniel Way Deadpool. And I hated Waypool in the comics. Plus the "Constant Fourth Wall breaking" is annoying & played out when it's done every other sentence. And in the past, it was something DP rarely did. But comes with territory or exaggerating characters into parodies and writings not doing research far enough back to correct crap. lol
Another apparently unpopular opinion given everyone who's up his ass. I HATED Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth. He didn't have a good body or look for the role, and his acting was hammy to a cringe degree. But everyone's was in that film. lol He's often listed as the highlight or only good part of Origins, and people are clambering for him to be Sabretooth again. I heavily disagree. Now use Jason Momoa, or even The Rock if they need a wrestler, but Schreiber & Mane both sucked imo.

Reynolds fought so hard for Deadpool and it looks like he genuinely enjoys playing the character. He is not perfect but he is close and maybe without him, Deadpool would have never been in the big screen.
wolverine is too hairy
I don't blind date I make the direct market vibrate
Another unpopular opinion. I'd have been fine with the bold. lol I'd rater DP not be on the big screen as raunchy Waypool if that's all his character is gonna be known as. That image isn't helping him in the comics when Waypool is the version writers keep going back to, even more so with the move's.
Heck I don't think it's a coincidence that Creed's character turned into a dumb clod as soon as a new writer got a hold of him after Tyler Mane. (Austen) Meanwhilemyst ique's stick went through the roof when she got to be naked Rebecca R.
Perhaps Maddie shouldn't have been created but the means to which they ended her relationship with Scott was a cure that was worse than the disease.
Also, Claremont only created Maddie because Marvel insisted on Jean staying dead at the time only to renege on that later. So really, the whole mess is editorial's fault.
