So, like houndsofluv was saying, I enjoy the dichotomy. The Order vs Chaos. The Ying vs. Yang. I like this notion that David is a calming force for Quire, and Quire brings out an adventurous side in David -- not to imply that David is boring by any means, but definitely more structural(?) and/or cautious(?)
Anyhow, I love these two BIG brains getting into arguments and people not fully understanding their attraction to each other because of all their bickering, and teasing each other about their respective "know it all" behavior and their means of acquiring their knowledge.
