Well, either way, there are a few arguably terrible ideas in Endgame and it should not be a template for the X-Men.

Does it need doing?
Yes.
Then it will be done.
Why even bring up Endgame or Infinity War? They're not template Movies, they're bookends.
I feel like they inflated the power levels of mutants way too much.
“Strength is the lot of but a few privileged men; but austere perseverance, harsh and continuous, may be employed by the smallest of us and rarely fails of its purpose, for its silent power grows irresistibly greater with time.” Goethe
None of the current writers and artists on x-men could create a decent action sequence to save their lives. Everything's just gonna be boring splash pages and anticlimactic fights fans eat up because their it's their fav being "badass"
Believe it or not, a core of Marvel fans are aiming to do that...
Not necessarily the same narrative at all, but... collaborate on a narrative for the Avengers and X-Men, alongside GOTG, Spider-Man, and introducing, the Fantastic 4. Several hobbyist artists and animators are pitching in, and well... we're close to already a couple of shorts being uploaded. The goal is for fans to create our OWN Marvel narrative, according to the perspectives of fans. To make this cohesive as a narrative, a former instructor is helping with the vision, and structuring a story. It's awesome, and I believe this would give many fans... what we've all wanted, in some way, shape or form
More of a small take: any depictions of Logan using his claws to eat/cook/prepare food is crazy. Those things have been in A: his arms, most of the time, B: in other people half the time and C: never been cleaned ever.
