Jim Era look being the best may be controversial, but I think overall most people prefer him without condom head.

Utopia without condom head would be perfect.

Cyclops looks better without the full head covered. The Jim Lee era look is the best look he ever had. Every costume since they goes back to the head condom look is just not good. The worst by far was giant red x across his face costume.

My unpopular and controversial opinions.....

1. No more time travel or alternate realities.
2. No more Phoenix stories.
3. Xmen should exist in their own universe
4. Xmen need a reboot.
5. There are too many characters in the Xmen, too much redundancy....

Cable (never exists or dies as a baby)

Strong Guy

Frenzy
Hijack
Madison Jeffries

All Bendis new mutant creations/students
All Aaron new mutant creations/students

I would do some combinination of their origins and/or powers with other similar characters to make the existing character more interesting. For instance:

Gambit and Havok
Sunspot and Sunfire
Dazzler and Aurora
Boom Boom and Jubileee
Firestar and Magma
Elixir and Traige
Monet and Frenzy
Forge and Madison Jeffries and Hijack.

mystique is a bland villain & needs Destiny to raise her back up.

Wolverine is over-saturated and needs to be regulated to his solo and ONE team book with only occasional cameos / guest appearances elsewhere. The man also needs NO MORE children. He's making Zeus look like a poster boy for condoms.

I have no good thoughts of Scemma. lol Don't hate it like some pairings, but I find it eye-rolling.

Monet is black. Given the argument, that's a very controversial one. lol

creed no longer works as a villain and needs to be put on a bus or killed off. Wolverine needs a better arch foe, or arch foe period. lol hard to call a loser an arch foe when the hero doesn't think him a threat.
