Huh. Could've swore this would be the issue that Mike Del Mundo started on.
Will never read an Alan Davis book. Can't stand it.
You know, I was hoping that there'd be some kind of redeeming quality to the issues where Bruce finally shows up, some hope that there was still something of the Hulk in him and that they didn't just completely get rid of Bruce but they've dashed any possible feeling I could have of a redeeming quality for this book. This book treats this as if this is the first time that Bruce has been separated from the Hulk and basically has him going around acting like a spastic dumbass simply because he won't hulk out as a result essentially setting him back to to ground zero of him finding that the Hulk is nothing but a curse with no redeeming qualities. Hell the last time he was separated, he drove himself mad just trying to recreate experiment that made him the Hulk in the first place and in the end realized that they both needed each other. Now it's like none of that happened. How is it that we can see the other heroes evolve in their roles yet Hulk always comes back to being nothing but a curse to Bruce.
So this book essentially has made Bruce into a spastic idiot and Cho into an even bigger tool.
Huh?!? Now there's a statement I've never heard. Alan Davis is a legend, 30+ years in the biz and still better than most of the artists around today... imo, of course. : )
I hope the cover doesn't portend Maddy Cho becoming She-Hulk?
