Create Your Own Guardians of the Galaxy Roster

I don't know if it's been done before, but in this thread, you can make up your own roster as to which superheroes, cosmic or otherwise, you feel are worthy to be Guardians of the Galaxy.

I'll start with my own roster, which happens to be a large roster, consisting of the original 13 members from the 2008 DnA comics as well as other superheroes. If the Avengers and the X-Men can have large rosters, why not the Guardians? Think of it as Justice League Unlimited, GOTG style!

Loved the 08 run of the Guardians but felt like the roster was too big back then, could only really ever remember a handful of them. My team would be made up of the core members that I remember from back then: Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Quasar (Phyla-Vell), Adam Warlock, and Darkhawk as a guilty pleasure

I feel like it would be better to disperse the remaining cosmic members from over the years into different teams like the Knowhere Corp, Annihilators, Warbound, and Starjammers. Characters like Venom, Kitty Pryde, etc. that have no business being in space I'd just send back to earth altogether.

Starhawk travels back in time to warn the modern day Guardians of a grave threat. She locates Rocket and Groot but before they can warn the rest of the team, they disappear. Rocket presses Starhawk for answers but suddenly she turns into a dude, and is confused. Cammi, of earth, hears about Drax's disappearance and decides to find the old man. Rocket realises he needs a heavy hitter.
