Did you know that every atom in our bodies was once part of a star? Think about that… EVERYTHING changes. Caterpillars turn into butterflies and stars turn into @$$holes.

"When fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross." - Sinclair Lewis
“It’s your party and you can cry if you want to.” - Captain Europe
These aren't necessarily reflective of how I live my life, just the type of music I listen to based on the time of day. My real soundtrack would probably be filled with boring dad songs.

The Last Song I'm Wasting on You - Evanescence
There are different ways to interpret this song. I've read conflicting reports that Amy Lee wrote it about Ben Moody (her ex bandmate) or her ex boyfriend Shaun Morgan (lead singer of Seether). Its definitely a take control of your life type song from an abuser however I have a slightly personalized take on it. I suffered from severe depression as a youth and became a cutter to control the pain. Cutting became my only release and it worked though with increasingly diminishing effect. Its been twenty years since I last cut but when I get stressed I often think about it. To me this song speaks to my inner self who longs to cut and how I'm not going to let that self back into my life because of how destructive it eventually became for me. I see my younger self as the abuser who damaged my body and who wants another chance but I'm older now and not buying it (actual lyric from the song). I've seen others who view it as I do, probably since one of the first lines makes reference to veins.
