There are a lot of nay-sayers, but I'm pretty sure most of those people haven't even read a GLA book, so they don't realize how good of a book it was and can be. I hope Marvel does a promotion like including a free issue included with the debut of a more popular book so they can get more exposure.

I was so stoked for the Champions book that I didn't even noticed these threads. I thought it was talking about old Great Lake Avengers books or it was a mini or something but a freaking ongoing?

And the cardboard Squirrel Girl thing was easily the best laugh I had all day. I didn't notice at first when I started reading about the book in the Bleeding Cool website because the first cover that shows up is this one:



When I rolled the page and saw the second cover it cracked me up. I'm very stoked for this and I'm probably checking at the very least the first comic the day that comes out. Great Lake Avengers can be hillarious if done right, and I want this to do well and Squirrel Girl to rejoin them. Bwahahahaha. This is awesome, THANKS Marvel, a "funny" book from you that I'm actually anticipating. HARD.
