Really hope Cyclops isn't leader, these other kids should be able to grow and get chances to lead. From the E.W interview it sounds like Cyclops comes in later anyway.

no, seriously. tactics-wise, Scott Summers is nearly as formidable as Captain America. it's one of his stand-out character traits (like being a sucker for female telepaths).

That would be true if this was the older Cyclops, we're not sure how much leadership experience this younger one has, but its a safe bet that right now tactic-wise, he couldn't hold a candle to Captain America. Plus I think Amadeus can give him a good run for his money in that aspect. Remember, on top of being the 8th smartest person in the world with a mind of a hyper-computer, he's also one of the few people who can beat The Vision at chess.

On this team, your right without a doubt. But all I meant to say was that a good leader doesn't always have to be the one with the greatest tactical mind. Cyclops knows how to best utilize the skills of the people in his team, and if you have someone as smart as, Cho on it you would probably want to listen to his tactical advise...well either him or Viv probably.

Miles and Nova are best when a plan goes wrong and you need to adapt quickly and improvise (Miles probably more so since he tends to keep a cool head under pressure more than Nova).

Ms. Marvel is someone you want who can keep the others from losing sight of the big picture of what the team's mission is and her encyclopedic knowledge of all things in the super-hero community. Plus she's one of the few in the group who can slap some sense into Nova or Cho when their hot headiness or ego gets too big.
