So freaking happy and excited this is FINALLY being released! It looks so good.
I have a great deal of respect for Tartakovsky's talent, but I can't muster much interest in this. I don't really have any nostalgic longing for 70s kitsch, and between the description and the art style, it gives off the vibe of a Mad Magazine parody of a 70s exploitation movie.
Why does every Iron Fist or Luke Cage book have to have ugly art -_-
What happened to all the great artists at Marvel, Did Esad Ribic retire and become a driving instructor?
The cringe Luke is back. Yeah!!
Between season five of Samurai Jack and now this, I'm glad luck is finally turning in favor of Genndy. He deserves it.
I'm still waiting for Weisman to FINALLY get his due, too.

Starbrand and Nightmask didn't have to be a bad series. It could have been epic if he'd had the chops to make it so....
And I thought Tarta-whatever was 'improving and refining' things. Tuska could have drawn something blindfolded AND been inked by Colletta and do better than the **** on display here. I wish he'd left the project buried under things in his closet if this is the crap I have to see when I pass over clicking on links about it...
Hm, is that today's announcement for Marvel Now? Hope not.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This and Samurai Jack return it's agood time to be a fan of Genndy Tartakovsky
Wow, I didn't expect to see so much hate/dislike for this and Tartakovsky's work.
Will be buying all 4 issues of Cage for sure. Looking forward to this about equally as much as I am for Dark Horse's Legend of Korra comic.
Actually if Genndy's Cage was an ongoing comic, I'd probably buy every issue. Hope to see Iron Fist and Misty Knight in the miniseries too.
Top 10 Favorite Comics as of September 2019

Marvel: Magnificent Ms. Marvel
IDW: Samurai Jack: Lost Worlds
Other: Chuck Mullin's Bird Brain, Huda F's "Yes, I'm Hot in This," Nathan W. Pyle's Strange Planet, Dirk Manning & K. Lynn Smith's Hope, Samurai Grandpa
Not a fan of Tartakovsky. I'll check it out only because it's Luke Cage.
