Know naff all Russian...so no way can I do searches to double check what's available.

But in general Alan Moore..who wrote Watchmen did a lot of really good stuff. Looking at covers on site see his "V for Vendetta" and "The Killing Joke"'are certainly there. I'd warmly recommend his run on Swamp Thing, and "From Hell" if they are available.

Again going on covers looks like Garth Ennis run on Punisher Max is available. That's very good, but even better...if available...is his run on "Preacher" or "Hitman".

You should tell us more about your tastes, what you would like to read and so on. I know you mentioned Watchmen and Dark Night Returns but, this being a Marvel forum, I wonder if you are looking for good comics in general or good super hero comics.

    Sensible, of course.

But then it's unlikely(?) that much current Marvel/DC mainstream super hero stuff is translated into Russian.

Best thing, then, may be to concentrate on great stand-alone classic stories? In that spirit may be well worth checking if Will Eisner's great New York trilogy ("A contract with God", "A life force", and "Dropsie Avenue") is available in Russian, and Art Spiegelman's "Maus". If available, both marvellous books.
