Bronze Tiger Appreciation

I hope to see Bronze Tiger involved with the Suicide Squad either in the movies or the comics. Not for nostalgic reasons, but because that's where he fits best imho. And there was absolutely nothing wrong with the were-tiger thing, it worked. But who am I kidding? Fans aren't really open to new things.

Well, I personally don't like the symbolism/imagery of a black man being able to change into an animal, considering how black men (and black women as well) in the real world have often times been called animals. There was nothing wrong with Ben Turner putting on a tiger head as part of his Bronze Tiger persona.

Does anyone know why he was not included in the Suicide Squad film, or even the recent books?

Perhaps Ben may appear in the sequel.

I haven't heard anything about Bronze Tiger in months. I'm hoping they at least resurrect his character on the "Arrow" TV show, especially with Vixen set to make an appearance on the show in a few months.

With the push Black Panther is getting over at Marvel, this could be a good time to use Bronze Tiger.

They know that I quite like the Bronze Tiger "weretiger". I think it's cool and the air of majesty to the character without necessarily belittle your martial artist qualities. For me the Bronze Tiger weretiger is basically in the style of this episode of Batman The Brave and The Bold and I think he'd make a fantastic member of the Suicide Squad:
