The next day, Clark Kent & Bruce Wayne officially meet at the Daily Planet. Bruce has decided to let the paper operate as-is, and he returns to Gotham. Lois mentions Clark looks a little pale.

Meanwhile, Lex has retrieved the unconscious Bizarro and has taken him back to the lab. During an anslysis, Lex sees that Bizarro's cells have been oddly changed by exposure to the rock; they appear to be dying, instead of recovering. Lex knows that a burst of sun radiation will heal Bizarro, but he lets him die instead. He can always clone another one...meanwhile, he's discovered a new weapon.

His adventure in Metropolis quickly come to a close as he's apprehended by President Waller's newly appointed Director of Superhero Activities....ALFRED E. NEUMAN!
