Default LOOK: Michael Turner's "Harley Quinn" DC Rebirth Variants

The late artist's sketchbook provides the basis for a trio of images celebrating the pistol-packing clown's Rebirth return.

I'm confused. Who drew this exactly? It couldn't have been Turner that did it since that design based on the New52/movie design didn't exist until about 3 years after he died.
Pull List: Everything DC. Plus the all of the X-Men books, Deadpool, Invincible, The Walking Dead, and various other titles I can't think of at the moment.

Man I would buy that comic in a heart beat if the Harley on the cover was like the Harley in the book.
I was trying to do too much and not doing any of it as well as I could. But I've had a change of mind... though not everyone shall enjoy it. I will.

It appears Turner did the actual sketches or drawings at some point in his life that Aspen Comics, or his estate, are using in a deal with DC to use. The second cover is simply inked and colored with added background. The third looks photoshop altered for the movie Quinn.

I think they should stick with just the originals, in particular, the sketches like the first as a limited exclusive. More so, if using any proceeds for charity in his name/honor.

Totally forgot about this. Now it's sold out. Pretty quick.

Managed to snag one. Always was a fan of Turner's and Peter's work.

Turner did the pencils years ago, someone else just inked and colored it; the movie version is photoshopped. Aspen Comics has been doing this for a while now, recoloring or photoshopping in new details to his old stuff and selling it as new.

Still feels a bit ghoulish, especially the extent the Movie-Harley has been altered but keeps Turner's credit on it. I'm all for keeping an artist alive through their works but...too far?

I think it's an awesome celebration of Turner. It's done in music all the time so why not art? Taste will be subjective in the execution but remixing an art, so to speak, is not in itself an act taken too far.
