Why would they bother showing Jesse and Wally getting hit by the particle accelerator in THIS timeline if they're only going to have powers in an alternate one?

Looks almost identical to the New 52 costume
Superhero shows are trash
now give him the proper personality, and I'll be happy.

YUCK! No thanks! I'm not a fan of this version of Wally.
I will stick with Flash Wally from the Justice League cartoon instead.
Not crazy about the open spaces around the face, eyes & especially between the hairline & top of mask. Not that it needs to be covered completely, but the spaces could be better balanced.
I don't think this suited up Wally impostor is from an alternate timeline. I believe the season premier will show right away the aftermath of Flashpoint.
Here is my theory: episode 1 will start 6 months AFTER Barry returned to the present and already fixed the timeline. Because of the mess he made when he changed the timeline and his personal trauma, he gave up being The Flash, so Wally took over for him and received his own suit from Cisco. Joe disapproves of his son's activities.
Throughout the season we see flashbacks showing what Barry did in the past and had to fix and how these actions had permanent consequences in present/future. Basically, a much better and interesting version of the Arrow flashbacks.

I liked the silver and red he sported in the comics more than the classic design.
It looks alright.
In the show's original timeline Barry still had powers, he just got them later.
