So the list just shows that Hawkeye's a hypocrite ?
I'm still waiting for Paladin to get his Avengers membership.
ten hilarious in hindsight (or at least gleefully ironic)
Are you serious?
This just show how bad Civil War is written.
Lazy editing.
So Everybody would rather seeing Super heroes fighting each other and killing each other AGAIN instead of fighting Super Villains and cool space monsters? How come?

No, it shows that Bendis doesn't care about minor details like decades-worth of characterization. And this isn't the first time. Does anyone else remember how, in his first New Avengers volume, Hawkeye was the one character (in a team with Wolverine in it) adamant about how they had to kill Norman Osborn?
Good question.and when there is about to be a cool fight they of then cut it.
Remind me of a Hawkeye mini serie. in the first 3 pages he was gona fight Absorbing man,Mr Hyde and someone else. all major Avengers villain.Next page was after the fight.
WTH?
And a lot of villains are treated like complete jokes or forget any character development they ever had.
Black Tarantula,Zemo.
IIRC he also fired Iron Man from the WCA after the killed Titanium Man during the Armor Wars.
In-universe explanation: Clint is a hypocrite
IRL explanation: Bendis just doesn't give a single crap
No-price: when Wanda brought him back from death, the best part of his soul stayed behind (after all, it's not only Bendis, but also Fraction and Lemire who portrayed him as a terrible person)
Why is this hilarious? It is sad to see how badly Hawkeye has been portrayed by Bendis. The guy is too lazy to research before he takes on a new book. He's done the same thing to Guardians of the Galaxy.
There is the generous explanation that people simply change their views over time.
However, I'm loathe to endorse this explanation seeing as how a) It's Brian "What Continuity?" Bendis, b) I'm so sick of heroes fighting heroes, c) I'm so so sick of sensationalist events.
In Civil War,Murdock brought out is "spotty past".After a decade of being a Avenger and back then he was trick in to being a burglar.
It's preaty far from being a murderer.
During the first Civil War,Fabian did cool things in Thunderbolts, explaining what hapenned to all the villains and plot holes.
When ask about it,Bendis said he did'nt know what was going on in the Fabianverse.
Did CBR do away with the 'see all on one page' thing? Not seeing it, and also not clicking through several pages.
