    I was thinking the exact same thing.

    I've ended up reading a fair amount of Millar's work because he always works with artists I like, but more often than not found myself put off by his writing. I resisted trying Huck even though I like Albuquerque and the premise sounded interesting, because I figured it'd be more of the same. But I really liked this. But, given how it ends, I could easily see it veering into more familiar Millar territory. Either way, that art is gorgeous. Dave McCaig's name should be on the cover. He's every bit the "artist" on this book as Albuquerque. A lot of times the "open line" approach results in the drawing being overwhelmed by a too heavy color application. But the blend here is perfect, and does a great job creating the right atmosphere.
