This is a bit off topic but it does relate to Comixolgy and Marvel. I have bought several Marvel HC's witch come with the free digital download codes (I have redeemed them all and have no interest in trading, sorry.) I use windows 8.1 and have the comixology app. I had no problem installing the app or downloading the comics. However every time I shutdown/restart my computer I am unable to re-open my downloaded comics. The only solution is to uninstall/reinstall the app and re-download the comics. I have contacted comixology several times and they have been no help. Their answers amount to "Yes we know it is a problem. We have no idea when or if we are going to fix the problem." Does anybody have any ideas an how to get this app to work ?

I'm sorry, I've never had this problem (iPad). I can see how this might be a problem, particularly since collection files like that can be huge (750 MB or more). My monthly download allowance from my internet service provider is only 80 GB, so I wouldn't want to have to redownload those all the time.

Maybe try using the Marvel App instead of the Comixology app? The Marvel App is powered by Comixology, but you might get lucky and not have that glitch happen.

The Marvel app is not available for Windows. I just received an email for comixology support. Says they are working an update but have no eta. I have talked a couple of other people who have this same issue. They both have told me that comixology has been giving them this response for over a year. Anyway thanks for responding. It seems like the only answer is to buy a Mac or Android device.
