Set up the character to appear in future MCU films. He can be a future leader of the Avengers.
If Cage's father is dealt with at all, let Carl Weathers play him.
At this point, I have serious doubts that any of the Netflix characters will appear in any of the movies.

Incorrect. He was given money for his deeds and he just gave it to other people.

Hero for Hire was just created so people can come to him and ask for help.

And that's not Cage. Cage is a dude that will just go forward and not stop until he is done.
He is basically black captain america.

    No he wasnt.
The first thing he did is get a super hero costume and start busting up the place. And that lead to people to ask him for help.

Does Disney own Shimmy Shimmy Ya? Because they used it in Fresh Off the Boat too. Kind of wish the trailer started with Luke Cage standing there like Ol' Dirty Bastard does in the video.

The Captain America movies have been the least interesting movies Marvel has been doing lately. The best was the first, now they're just half-assed Jason Bourne movies that don't really succeed at anything they're doing, and they sure don't do there Jasom Bourne thing anywhere near as good as the Bourne movies. Civil War was better than The Winter Soldier too, at least in Civil War they pull off some of the things they're trying to do, and at least there's one action scene there in these action movies that good. It's kind of spectacular Marvel has went this kind of army action guy direction with Captain America and still somehow manages to make some of the more boring versions of this we've had in the past ten years.

Not true. It was created because he was an escaped con with no legit ID or employment prospects who needed a job. He helped someone (and even that happened mostly by happenstance at first), they offered him money as a reward, and he got the idea to start charging people for his help. Eventually, he started helping people just to help people as a given, but it wasn't what he started out doing.

That's who he is now. That's not who he always was. The TV show is presenting the earliest version of the character, showing his hr's journey. Basically the same thing they did with Jessica Jones and Daredevil

It also led to him charging people money for his services. That's not esp. hero-like behavior. It took a while for him to get to the point where he was the character we know today.

It was better than first Avenger by your standard. But your standards aren't everyone else's.

Except that they are, this sure is a fun game. But, how aren't they? How aren't Marvel's third rate Jason Bourne movies the least interesting thing they've got going? What is the least interesting thing they've released since the first Avengers movies?

    In every way possible.

    Thor the Dark World.

I always like the superhero genre more when it's mixed with other stuff.

    Iron Man 3.

He saved some one and they gave him cash which he used to create the hero cover to get his revenge.
When it come to Hero for Hire he only kept cash to cover damages.

the only time he took money was for rich people and when Doom was messing with him.

That's all superhero movies are now. I didn't say it was bad because it's mixed with something, it's bad because it does a really shitty job of it.

    Iron Man 3.
Iron Man 3, aka what The Winter Soldier wishes it was.
