Someone requested Vision as part of a Line It Is Drawn piece - but the artist drew Viv instead to have an all female team.

Crap. New creative team didn't help the sales numbers. Kamala's solo isn't doing well either.

Some asshats have been giving Jim Zub grief over Snowguard.

Jim Zub posted this interesting tidbit on his tumblr when asked about sales:
Stuff we've heard before, but it is a confirmation for why titles like Moon Girl continues to get published despite an apparent lack of sales in the Direct Market. These teen books are selling well in alternative markets. The direct market is only one area and the sales numbers listed there are far from complete. Most book store sales, book festival and reading club sales, library sales, Amazon sales, digital sales, and foreign sales are not accurately tracked. I know for a fact that a few Big Two series near the bottom of the traditional sales charts in comic shops have really strong sales in schools and libraries, keeping them quite profitable and viable.
Since almost every elementary school and high school has a library, there are more libraries in America than bookstores. A book that gains visibility in the teen/young adult library market can have incredibly steady sales and you wouldn’t even know about it if you’re only focused on comic shop direct market sales.
It's funny how when writers create legacy characters there's cries of outrage about how it's a "slap to the face" of the fans of the originals and how original characters should be created instead and yet when original characters are made you still get bile **** like this.

Yeah, it's totally out of order. And as Bart Simpson once said, "you're damned if you do, and you're damned if you don't".

Preview for Champions #20, which is mostly the origin of Snowguard:

And Incredible Hulk #717, where we may be losing a Champion...

I like the look of the new creative team, but am still not over the loss of Cyclops. Seriously. Champions was the first time the character was ever likeable IMHO. https://sirmarkussite.wordpress.com/...ion-for-a-day/
I like the look of Snowguard, and am looking forward to seeing what this team can do.
As for numbers, if these secondary teen oriented titles can keep performing well at book fairs and in trades, I'd call that a win for those of us that enjoy them.
She's not. Read the preview for #20, it shows how she got her powers.
