Tough, because they're very different characters. I enjoy both, but as simple preference, I've always enjoyed spy/assassin characters more than others.
Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel
Natasha Romanova aka Black Widow

"This is me being reasonable"
I accidentally voted for Black Widow. P
MODS, can you change my vote, please?
For me they are about dead even except for the fact that I find Black Widow's interactions and relationships with various marvel mainstays far more interesting than most of Carol's.
I'm not a fan of any of them.
Think prefer Carol for having a past less obscure. As a military and a soldier she has a rigid view of the world and attitudes that sometimes disapprove but most of the time she is good and nice person.
Really don't care much for spies. Not even James Bond that much.

Neither. I'm indifferent to both. I've TRIED to like them because of the Marvel push but i just don't find them likable however if i was forced to vote i'd go for Natasha.
Black Widow all the way. Carol as Captain Marvel not even remotely as interesting as Carol as Ms.Marvel

"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" - Optimus Prime
Tough call.
I like them both, but Natasha's alwaays been just a bit more interesting.
Maybe because she just fits right into the Modesty Blaise Femspy archetype-she's worked better in solo stories just because she
already has a ready made genre to play in.
While Carol's solo books have often foundered looking for a direction.
Carol. Because sci-fi genre > spy genre.
How did Marvel get away releasing covers with Natasha's top un-zipped?
On the one hand, I generally just don't have to much interest in Black Widow beyond the occasional appearance in other character's books. On the other, I'm more interested in Carol(the first place I've read about here was as Ms. Marvel in Busiek's Iron Man run, and i've read the first 5 issues of her current series) but Marvel is really doing there best to make her thoroughly unlikable right now.
That's easy. Since I don't like Carol Danvers, like, at all Black Widow is the only choice.
Tasha by some way. It would have been closer when Carol was Ms marvel but I've liked her less and less since she became Cap, not because of that but more because of her comic.
Unless we're talking movies in which case I'll swap because I'm not a fan of ScarJo's widow
Widow is the reason I got into comics. But I absolutely love Carol. So Carol.
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Man, this is a really tough choice. I like both of them a lot. But ultimately, I'm going with Carol.
I hope I shall possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of all titles, the character of an honest man.
