The Martian Manhunter appeared in the comics first. This is for characters that appeared in other media originally.

Edgar Rice Burroughs had them on Barsoom long before there was a DCU.

Loved the Batwomen. Wish they became a regular trio of Flying Foxes.

Okay I just looked it up and now I see what you mean. I'd never read the John Carter books and never saw the film.

So, there were White Martians in the Barsoom series where they exactly the same as the ones in DC?

Not exactly the same, but the inspiration is obvious.

The leader of the Hyperclan did look exactly like a Burroughs White Martian though.

I think El Dorado's got some potential.

As Hanna Barbera's El Dorado? Or as Young Justice's Eduardo Dorado? Sadly we didn't get an Ultimen Dorado.
Or maybe a hybrid/combination of both? (actually what I would love to see for all the HB creations)

The Barcave isn't a character of course, but I was surprised to learn that it first appeared in one of the Batman serials.

Some sources claim that Olsen first appeared in the comics (in a nameless cameo), although his first name-referenced print appearance did come after the advent of the radio show.

Perry White, however, definitely made his debut on radio.
