However, Bane's old knee to the spine trick has proven pretty effective for breaking dudes.

I assume this is Dark Knight Rises Bane? Regardless, Bane should win easily; the only exception would be that if this were the Batman & Robin Bane I could see Lecter manipulating and tricking him.
