Default Godzilla: From Menace To Midget

An article from RocketNews24 (a website about pop culture in Japan) mentions how the 1954 version of Godzilla, King of the Monsters wouldn't be all that impressive if he attacked modern day Tokyo:

The original Godzilla would look positively tiny attacking modern-day Tokyo

In 2040, Godzilla will have to eat the moon and fight the planet Venus before we take him seriously.

Shouldn't this be titled "Midget to Menace"?

They've consistently scaled the monsters' heights upward so that they still seem towering next to towering modern skyscrapers. This was a big problem with the '90s films, because by making the monsters so big it meant the models had to be built smaller, and they lost detail and looked crummy. Shin Godzilla has a CGI Godzilla, real footage of buildings, model buildings, and CGI buildings all combined in the computer - so now there's no limit to how big the monsters can be because these things don't have to be built to scale with each other.

The original Godzilla, btw, was 100 meters tall specifically to match the tallest buildings in Tokyo at the time.

I think it would be MORE impressive.

It would be like, "OH NO! This monster that's not that tall compared to the buildings around is wrecking everything and modern military weapons cant do anything about it!"
