The movie will be fine. Its not a great movie but its fun and unlike BvS lends itself to multiple viewings.

DCEU DOA!
I imagine a lot of the 40% drop was due to the free ticket deal for Friday.
Like they always say, you can buy a big opening weekend if you've got the marketing budget. We'll see what happens now that word of mouth is a factor, see if it has legs. This steep drop isn't a good sign.

You know, I still think we might be looking at the new landscape of the blockbuster. Movies are much more front loaded now. If all the new releases open big and then drop off maybe its more indicative of the changing habits of viewers. The people who want to see it go see it right away so they can talk with everyone else who's already seen it by opening weekend.
Oh dear oh dear oh dear. DCEU is DOA. 40% drop? Must be due to horrible WOM and critically panned reviews. Suicide Squad is not going to break even and needs at least $800mil or it'll be considered a disaster. 40% drop? Holy crap, DCEU is DOA. There will be no more movies after justice league.
