This is an interesting take on The Joker. Conceptually it reminds me a lot of Batman Black and White.

It would probably wreck his mystique to run this as a mainstream story but it would make a nice standalone story outside continuity.

I would think DC would sue the hell out of anybody trying to make money off of THEIR character without paying licensing fees and such to DC.

Really? Thats all this community has to say? Yes of course they would be sued if they tried to sell this comic. But DC has been tolerant of fan works in the past as long as they're free and I can only imagine that they'd be interested in this treatment. No reason they couldn't hire the writer and artist to produce it. It happens all the time in the industry.

Its also one of the best concepts I've read for a Joker story.
