    I love pretty much all of the Year Ones, and the Dixon/Beatty ones were a cut above most of them (except, of course, Miller's). I'd personally love to see a serious story where we see Bruce and Dick if it were given proper attention. I don't love the flashbacks in the current Nightwing run or Batman and Robin Eternal.

    I've seen no mention that Dick is legally adopted by Bruce since the latest reboot. Dick treats Damian more like a dad than Bruce does.

    To me, Bruce and Dick are THE Dynamic Duo. They have the best character dynamic and they are iconic.

    Damian was technically Damian's brother and surrogate dad until recently.
    I Rebirth Dick called him brother and said he wished he was his dad. DC can't seem to make up heir minds as to weather Dick was adopted or not.
    Editorial mandate seems to be Bruce has the one son [DC Nation 4 called Damian Bruce's only son and Nightwing 50 and Batman title after Dick got shot called Dick Bruce's ward]

    I am unclear weather Dick is still adopted in this continuity but I see Dick and Bruce's relationship just like Dick and Damian. They have a special relationship different from that of other Dynamic Duo's. There's more to the relationship. A mix of Brother and father.

    Dick is more than just Damian's Brother and Bruce is more than just Dick's Brother.

    Oops! maybe on an Alternate World somewhere there is a Damian who is His own father and brother. those Al Ghul's.
    I mean The Heretic who is technically Damian did kill Damian and we had an Island full of Damian's fighting to save Damian.
    So I look forward to the story where Damian somehow births himself

    I would call Dick and Damian the NEW Dynamic Duo. Bruce sucks at being a dad, and Damian needs a positive role model in his life.
