So are they going to use showtunes to defeat Mandrakk, an obvious homage to everyones favorite scene in Final Crisis?

As an original cast member of Rent, I'd imagine whatever he wants.

Yeah, I hate musicals. Guess I'll be skipping this episode.

I wouldn't be surprised if Victor Garber joins in too. These casts are loaded with Broadway performers (Jesse Martin, Grant Gustin, Melissa Benoist, Tom Cavanagh, Victor Garber.)

I mean they have set of actors that include Grant Gustin, Melissa Benoist, Jeremy Jordan, Jesse L. Martin, and Victor Garber. I would have caved to the musical impulse even quicker.

Exactly. This seems like the least surprising "surprise" announcement ever.

Oh, they're fine singers no doubt. We got to see Barry/Grant knock out a bit of karaoke during the first season after all . And I'd be interested in hearing Benoist sing too (she's just awesome). It just seems a bit incongruous.

Like I said though, we'll see.

She did it for several seasons on Glee.
