Angered trolls start #FeministAMovie hashtag to protest all-female Ocean's 11 cast

So, there's an idea out there to make an all female spinoff of Ocean's 11. And for most people, that's either a "meh" or "that's cool," but for some angry anti-feminist Twitter trolls, the same kind that were mad that they put women in Ghostbusters (and not for other reasons like preferring a sequel to a reboot, before we reopen that wound), it's a new battleground. So, they've started a #FeministAMovie hashtag to show everyone how awful they are. Some examples:

All quiet on the kitchen front #FeministAMovie

#FeministAMovie Fifty Shades of Oppression

#FeministAMovie James Bond - the spy who sexually objectified me

#FeministAMovie Honey, I Aborted the Kids.

Anyways, i dont see what's the problem with this; unlike Ghostbusters, this is not a reboot, it's not like this movie is about Danielle Ocean assembling a crew to have revenge on Terry because she is now dating her ex.

Perhaps more importantly, this is George Clooney, Steven Soderbergh, and Jerry Weintraub's idea (well, before Weintraub died last year) in the first place. It's not like a genderbent Ocean's 11 came out of a vacuum; it was conceived by all three key players from the previous trilogy. Even if they step aside as "merely" Executive Producers, they'll probably have way more say in this movie than the GB originals ever did because it was their idea.

So bashing it because of women but completely forgetting the fact that it's three guys *trying* to make space to showcase women talent is so ignorantly shortsighted.
