If I couldn't write The Green Lantern Corps or Mosaic, it would be The Spectre or a comic starring Plastic Man and the Elongated Man.

Probably Justice League Task Force and Martian Manhunter

    She can already do that...

    Reply to OP.

Justice League and Earth-2: Justice Society.

much as I love Superman, I can think up more stories featuring him and the rest of the league, than just the man of steel on his own.
Man of Steel, Batman v. Superman, Justice League.

    My favorite film trilogy.

Earth 2: which would be an amalgam of Roy Thomas' All-Star Squadron and most of Geoff John's Justice Society (with classic Freedom Force and Infinity Inc thrown in to boot).

LSH: because it hasn't been done the way I wanted it done in quite a long time.

Honorable Mention: A Milestone book featuring all the characters of the Milestone Universe.

Yes, I know that the odds are against The Spectre and Stretchers succeeding as ongoings. But I'd like to take a shot ar it before they move to mini status.

    1. Justice League: The Gods' Gambit - It's a billion years in the future. The Earth is still around, but mankind is not. Long ago lost to some war, famine or plague. And yet the Gods are still here, rooted to this realm. To entertain themselves, they concoct a game whereupon they venture to a replica of the Earth during the heyday of the hero. The goal is to find one of the 13 sigils which represent various members of the Justice League. Once a god finds a sigil, he or she becomes the divine version of that character indefinitely. Nearly 10,000 gods participate, relinquishing their godly powers in order to participate. Their powers are also the fundamental energies that make creating this instanced Earth, its population and all that goes with it possible. As these things go, a sinister cabal of gods decides to use this nigh-infinite power to their own ends. And thus the real game for the very survival of the gods themselves is afoot! Our story opens with Rama Kushna and her distant cousin, Sekhmet, in contention for the lariat of truth.

    2. Green Lantern. Just because he was the first DC character that I liked.

A graphic novel adaptation of the never made Superman movie starring Nicolas Cage. Painted by Marco Rudy the script would loosely be based on a mix of the different version of the story by Kevin Smith and Tim Burton.
It will be as weird as you can go with Electric SuperCage fighting Spider Brainiac.
Double prefaces by Dan Jurgen and Max Landis, obviously.

well, i'd write only one: JSA

12 core members (Jay Garrick, Alan Scott, Carter Hall, Rex Tyler, Kent Nelson, Wesley Dodds, Al Pratt, Diana Prince, Johnny Thunder, Dinah Drake, Ted Knight and Charles Mc Nider), 6 reserve members ( Ted Grant, Terry Sloane, Jim Corrigan, Clark Kent, Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson) + Ma Hunkel.

set during the late 40s or early 50s, despite being molested by the government and feared by the people they've sworn to protect, the JSA must fight to protect not only America but the whole world from an alien invasion.
    I would buy that twice.

2 of my first 3 thoughts. The other being Wonder Woman.

Then I realized, the correct answer for me is Doom Patrol and Wonder Woman. But you can throw in Swamp Thing as a sub for either, also lol.
Comics were definitely happier, breezier and more confident in their own strengths before Hollywood and the Internet turned the business of writing superhero stories into the production of low budget storyboards or, worse, into conformist, fruitless attempts to impress or entertain a small group of people who appear to hate comics and their creators. -- Grant Morrison, 2008

trade-waiting - Ice Cream Man, Monstress

backlog - Blade of the Immortal, Mignolaverse, Promethea, X-Cutioner's Song
