A few years ago in the Superman comics, there was a drink called "Yes!" everybody loved. I could never figure out what it was (cola?, carbonated coffee?) or if it was some sneaky thing a villian was using. Woke from a dream somebody offering me one...
I know this is obscure...

Yeah, that was I believe from Steven Seagle's (It's A Bird...) run on Superman. It was I think a coffee with some kind of nanotechnological virus in it developed by villains from the future to make it addictive/corrupting, if I remember right.

DoT's right, as usual. The drink, which I believe was some sort of iced coffee, Monster-style thing, was addictive and made its victims irrational (which is why Lois accused Clark of cheating on her when Cir-El showed up). And over time, it turned people into robot/cyborg slaves dedicated to the villains (the Futuresmiths) machinations.
