    Well this looks pretty fun.
Pull List: Everything DC. Plus the all of the X-Men books, Deadpool, Invincible, The Walking Dead, and various other titles I can't think of at the moment.

Is this... is this even legal? What the hell? I only wish it wasn't using this ridiculously chibi Spawn. Is it just me or does there seem to be an excess of Marvel characters in this? I mean, there's Aquaman, but everyone else is Marvel. Even that variant cover only shows bits of Marvel heroes. I know you're pissed about Marvel taking Angela away from you, but you gotta calm down there Todd.

Is this thing even Legal. I mean I know McFarlane had issues with Marvel, but I didn't think he would go this route and not consider the whole DISNEY OWNING MARVEL deal.

''If I can't be relevant then NO ONE will be!''

I wish it wasn't this chibi art style. Should have went full XTREME in 90' style.

seriously...this seems like an immature comic book just made to say "Screw You Marvel!"

It looks fun, and the art looks oddly cute but like what others have said how is this legal? I'm sure it could be a fun read but I wonder how they got past all of the copy writes stuff.

My guess? Chibi spawn is at a con and killing cosplayers dressed as the heroes.

Since like everyone's said - it's doubious that they'd get likeness to use the actual characters. But if they were costumes? Maybe

Parody is protected under the first amendment, and it was upheld by the Supreme Court in Flynt Vs. Falwell

"Under common law, the fair use doctrine, and the decisions of the Supreme Court, use of copyrighted material in parody is necessary, acceptable, and legal."

It's a bit more "in depth" than that but just check out the People Vs. Larry Flynt, a good chunk of the film covers parody/satire.

This looks so silly and fun. Kinda like Splitting Image from way back when. And I'd imagine Todd worked out some deal with Marvel where he can use their characters and they'll probably get to use Spawn on down the road for some sort of crossover event with Angela. This is just speculation, mind you.
I still miss Renee Montoya. Oh, and I'm a dude.

It looks like fun! Can Spawn be popular again like it was in the 90's?

After having read the full issue, it amused me greatly. Self-deprecating humour galore.

Sounds promising, I haven't read a good parody comic in awhile. I haven't been into Spawn in eons but I can't stand Deadpool or any of the other Marvel characters anymore, so having Spawn running around mocking them and killing them sounds like a lot of fun.

Comic book parodies, despite being totally protected under the first, aren't done very often and many of the ones that are out there, they're porn parodies. I can't remember the name of the publisher, they were like the top dogs of the porn comic genre, they did several parodies of Buffy but porn parodies just aren't amusing, imo.
