Lana Lang Appreciation!

Usually I don't go into appreciation pages but I just have to ask, how awesome is Greg Pak's Lana Lang in Action Comics right now? She's the most upbeat, go getter I've read in such a long time. She's Superman without being super or man.

IMHO she's really awesome.

I'm a big fan of Lana Lang. I feel she's been severely underutilized in favor of the more popular Lois Lane for quite awhile. I'm glad something is being done with her character for New52.

My dream is to see Lana as lead in her own comic series. It's not like she hasn't had powers in the past. With as many New 52 titles that have been cancelled; DC could make way for a Lana Lang series as Insect Queen. It's not like DC couldn't use a rebranding of their females character. You know amid cries of sexist depictions (breast size to head ration, costumes, scenarios) and cancelling of shows for having a female audience.

Why was I not informed immediately? This is hilarious (in a "how the hell did it even get past editorial" kind of way).

Can't remember why Lois is in a wheelchair but it's Chuck Austen , the guy loves his patented love triangle storyline no matter how ridiculous it was.

To be fair, the comic isn't exactly clear how those panties got there. She could have put them there or she could have just dropped them while she was doing her laundry.

Lois is in a wheelchair because she was shot saving a wounded soldier in Umec. Lana was trying to seduce Clark while Lois was away on assignment.
