Is it me, or does "Arkham manor" have BAD IDEA written all over it?

Huh?! Both of these seem like out of continuity types of ideas, is this going to somehow be explained?

    Sounds like elseworld-ish titles?

Oh God THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU! New Batman series! That's EXACTLY what comics industry, and my personal life, need right NOW!

My only gripe is that 2 new series are not enough. 5, or 6, would have been muuuch better. Oh well, we just have to wait one more month.

The thought of Wayne Manor being used as an asylum for the likes of the Joker, Killer Croc, Zsasz , etc. is a big turn off for me. I'll keep an open mind going into this though...

Newsarama said that DC confirmed it was in new 52 continuity.

Gotham Academy seems to be pretty good!!! I hope it is a more all ages book

Really interested in these two, especially Gotham Academy since it would be the perfect place for Stephanie Brown.

Agreed about Arkham Manor. Worst idea ever.

Gotham Academy is even more surprising, but I'm wondering what's supposed to make that book interesting outside of the creative team.

It really gets me that both of these books have such strong creative teams, but conceptually seem like nonstarters.

Yeah, I'm really not okay with Bruce's public links to Batman at all.

Academy, meh. Could go either way. Maybe DC have decided we need to continue with one Robin per year and now Bruce has an inexhaustible supply.

I'm not overly familiar with either writer, anybody know if they're any good?

I can see Arkham Manor happening due to events in Eternal

Gotham High just feels weird for an in continuity book though

None of them feels like on going materials, more like 6 issues limited series

Gotham Academy sounds like it could be potentially very good if at first glance not terribly original.

I would've thought a book called "Gotham Academy" would be Bruce and everyone else in high school. Wasn't there a concept for an animated series like that?

Arkham Manor concept sounds weird, but tempted to try it out since I love Duggan's Deadpool & Nova.
