On diet, tired of beer belly.
I lost 43 lbs, maybe 15 lbs to go until goal reached. I eat mostly vegetables, then fruits, then beans and quinoa, some grilled fish and chicken breast 2 or 3 times a week. Alcohol dropped from 2 drinks a day to none for close to 5 weeks.
Can't wait to reach my goal then go back to eat what I like but now in small portions. get on the scale and adjust diet depending on weight.
I love burgers, sushi, steak, fries, shrimp, merguez sausage (Look it up, I don't feel like typing what it is), pastas.......Not really a sweet person, I am a salty food one but as desert probably chocolate pudding.

Awesome for your success so far, and keep up the good work till you reach your goal. That's some hard work, I know. Much harder for me than doing the exercise.

Combo sushi burrito and fries from the place down the street. These fries are over cooked. I'm tempted to take them back, but I don't want to go back outside in the cold.

Bacon wrapped meatloaf with crispy bacon bits built in, with green beans and bacon, and mashed potatoes with bacon gravy. And a cake with maple/bacon frosting. And then I died of a simultaneous heart attack and stroke.

Nothing. I recently moved and still don't own a kitchen. Also don't know what a good kitchen would look like and what's necessary. Its been takeaway, junk food and worse for a while now served with coffee and tea at least.

What you need is a paring knife--when I was a cook in the navy, we each had our own paring knife in our back pocket. Also a spoon and a fork and a bowl or dish. Save the plastic containers from take-out and you can use those--also the plastic cutlery (but throw them out after a few uses). You might want a small wood board to use as a cutting surface.

Fresh vegetables and fruits save on cooking and refrigeration. Hopefully have a sink and fresh water to clean your groceries. An apple and a paring knife makes a meal. Add some cheese and you have a feast. If you have strong teeth, carrots and broccoli are good to chomp on. If you are worried about breaking your teeth, then mushrooms. Put some sour cream or mayo in a bowl or dish, cut pieces of fruit and veg with your paring knife and dip them in the bowl.
