A nice tall glass of Soylent! And a lot of water. It's not a diet to lose weight. It's just a different and easier way to get all the nutrients you need in a day.

Ate some chicken and steak stir fry at a Mexican place with re-fried beans and burritos. Then an hour later ...I ...UNLEASHED...HELL on the bathroom !

I made it yesterday. Thanks for the recipe, wife and I love it. This is a dish that's better with re-heating, and I like that because you can go ahead and make a big batch to last a few days. It is very similar to my mom's (Hungarian) stews except there is fish instead of beef, pork, or chicken. I think any kind of meat will work in it, add some carrot and another veggie also (thinking zuchinni or summer squash while they are in season). With beef, pork, or chicken, it should be good to freeze what's left over after you've had enough for a while.

    Homemade Chicken Quesadillas.

Beats the CRAP out of anything I've ever had from a restaurant!

I'm so glad you enjoyed the dish, you and your wife. Everything you said is true, re-heating the dish tastes better and is common to do a lot for a few days and freeze the rest. It is an old dish typical of fishing villages here, usually done with white tuna but also can be made with any variety of fish.

In fact to be a dish that passed from parents to children, each family has its own recipe, so I encourage you to do your own variant and feel free to use carrots, any vegetable or even meat. No rules here.

Sirloin steak, baked potato, roasted Brussels sprouts, and the best damn sautéed mushrooms I've ever made! A little soy sauce and Marsala wine, kids. It makes ALL the difference.

I just made Chicken Marsala for the very first time.........aaaaaand? I don't want to sound arrogant, but I seriously think I just beat every Italian restaurant at which I've ever eaten the dish!

I suppose I can't take all the credit, I did just use Emeril Lagasse's recipe. Though, I did make it my own by grating on some fresh nutmeg at the end.

But damn, it was good! Too good, in fact, for me to keep to myself. Here's the recipe. Trust me, just follow it exactly, except for my nutmeg addition.
