Everything that can be said probably has been said about the new CBR launch page. I didn't read all 31 pages of the thread, but I kinda got the gist of the general dislike, so 'nuff said.
What I can't get into are All. The. Lists. Do I really care about "15 Times Superman Gave Batman A Kryptonian Wedgie" or "10 Times The Hulk Pants Ripped And We Found Out How Incredible He Really Isn't?" No. I really do not. I care more about features, interviews, news articles, reviews and comic book history pieces than crap about Superheroes Who Got Lucky With A Supervillain.
I've worked in journalism and I've been a blogger, so I know views and clicks are what makes the world go round and enables daddy to buy baby some new shoes, but too much of CBR's content has turned into so much clickbait and that truly disappoints me. Nothing ever stays the same and CBR is still alive and kicking where others have disappeared like a fart in the wind. First law of nature is self-preservation, but there should be a happy balance to be struck between quality and commerce.
