If this is true then we can officially throw out any possibility of more Matt Ryan in the Berlantiverse.

And he has stepped down from directing Gambit for Fox:

While plot details are being kept under wraps, the story revolves around a dark Justice League team that consists of Det. John Constantine, Swamp Thing, Deadman, Zatanna and Etrigan the Demon.

The film is an ensemble focused which speaks to one of his early hits “Go”, which dealt with a similar ensemble. The film will play a major role in the new DC Extended Universe.
    Nice! Love the line-up.

I guess one thing I like about the DCEU is them introducing Batman supporting characters you would probably never see in a regular Batman film. I can't imagine Killer Croc, Deadman, Zantana, and maybe not even Harley appearing in a regular Batman film which typically can only deal with his well known rogue's gallery.

Since when are Deadman and Zantana "Batman supporting characters"? Croc and Harley yes...but the other two aren't even close to being Batman supporting characters.

Awesome to hear that they are doing a live action version of this! God I hope Batman has zero involvement in this project. Still bitter they are having him star in the animation when there are other more relevant magic characters that should be in it instead.

Oh and Lacey Chabert as Zatanna please. She's voiced the character before and is Italian. She's more than qualified.
Emma Frost, Rogue, Felicia Hardy, Helena Bertinelli, Allison Blaire, Barbara Gordon, Monica Rambeau, Carol Danvers, Illyana Rasputin, Ororo Munroe, Harleen Quinzel, Lorna Dane, Irene Adler, Kate Kane, Rachel Grey Summers, Jean Grey, Diana Prince, Barbara Ann Minerva, Donna Troy, Jennifer Walters, Gwen Stacy, Wanda Maximoff = PERFECTION!

Madame Xanadu needs to be featured as well.

    Whoo-hoo!

Just when we thought this movie was relegated to non-canon animation!

So glad to hear about this! Love the lineup, and I hope they go CRAZY with showing off everything that movie magic can do.
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

I bet Batman is going to be in this for a "extended cameo" just cause.

But, for some reason we still aren't allowed any Lanterns.
