    Default Booster Gold

I was wondering if anyone could help point me in the direction of the most recent Booster Gold trade paperbacks as there are a lot of different ones out there & it's a little confusing.

I can't help you myself, but if anyone can it is the guy who runs boosterrific.com!

The '80s Booster Gold series is collected in its entirety in one black and white Showcase trade paperback. It's huge, and it reprints all 25 issues (and one Superman crossover).

The Booster Gold series that spun out of 52 ran for 47 issues, in six trade paperbacks:

    Vol. 1: 52 Pick-Up
    Vol. 2: Blue and Gold
(Geoff Johns wrote both of these, and they are quite good. They came out in hardcover editions first, but don't buy them if you want a matching set, since later editions only came out in trade paperback.)

    Vol. 3: Reality Lost
    Vol. 4: Day of Death
    Vol. 5: The Tomorrow Memory
    (Dan Jurgens wrote these.)

    Vol. 6: Past Imperfect
(Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis, who famously wrote Booster as part of the classic Justice League International, wrote Booster Gold #32-43. But this volume only collects half of their run, and those fools in DC's trade department never released a Vol. 7!)

And finally, Dan Jurgens wrote #44-47 as tie-ins to the Flashpoint event, and those weren't collected either. I didn't think they were required reading unless you desperately want more Booster Gold stories, but they're such a departure from the rest of the series, I don't think they stand well on their own unless you read the Flashpoint miniseries too.

The Booster Gold bit in Convergence is one of the few high points of those minis IMO.
Did you know that every atom in our bodies was once part of a star? Think about that… EVERYTHING changes. Caterpillars turn into butterflies and stars turn into @$$holes.
