1 A third party altered the mist to effect mutants but everyone finds out to late.
2 Beast finally finds a cure but before he is able to make it, Magneto or someone else kills him claiming him to be a traitor. Losing the cure for ever.
3 The X-Men destroy the mist at the end but it reforms alittle bit later. X-Men now realize it is to late the mist is now apart of the Earth. The X-Men deside to leave Earth for another new beginning in space.

anyway you slice it, Marvel keeps repeating the same pattern. The X-Men and mutants are 4th class citizens of the Marvel Universe and this will be heavily skewed to the Inhumans, and it sucks.

1) Kamala Khan refuses to fight the mutants she loves and respects, but Medusa forces her through a "with us or against us" speech and she gets no say in the matter.
2) In her own book, Kamala is made to fight some third-rate background-fodder mutants and one big A-lister (likely Rogue because of her history with Carol Danvers), who she tries to reason with but gets no success. In other books, she's made incredibly OOC because screw Wilson's established character, there's fighting to do.
3) By the end of the event, Kamala will have lost both the mutants and the Inhumans as allies, the former for fighting them and the latter for making her do it.

Regardless of who or the details, Kamala's likely gonna have to face one A-list X-Man and she will hate it... in her own book.

I can understand why You think that way.
She can also be attacked by X men after ignoring Medusa orders.
That way she would be able to join main event

Sadly, this is probably the safest prediction for IvX and for the X-men moving forward, at least until Disney and Fox strike a deal like the one they made with Sony. And I don't see that happening anytime soon.

1. Vulcan was secretly kept as a prisoner by Black Bolt and a big bad villain (probably a human that hates both the mutant and inhuman) found out and leak this information to the public.

2. Inverted Havok hears about this and go to New Attilan with his team to get the Inhumans to release his brother but they denied him because Vulcan is their enemy and since he is way too dangerous to be released. Havok lost his patience and attacked but accidentally kill a royal member in the process thus triggering a war between the mutants and inhumans.

3. Both side will launch a massive attack at each other and they will keep fighting up until to the final issue of Inhumans vs. X-Men where the big bad villain appear to be holding Medusa's head like he's the next Perseus and told them that they have all been played like a fool. Cyclops suddenly appear and optic blast this villain guy to death. Crystal will also appear along with Cyclops and announce that Cyclops will be king of the mutants and that she will be his queen as a sign of diplomatic relation between the two races. Crystal will announce that she will help build a New Utopia with Cyclops for mutants to live there while the inhumans will live in New Attilan.
