Was looking for a Doctor Strange thread to post this, didn't see a main one, but this seems like just as good as of a thread for it.

Doctor Strange producer confirms Dan Harmon gave input on movie

Last August, it was widely reported that comedy writer and Community creator Dan Harmon was contributing to the script for additional scenes being shot on Marvel’s new, Benedict Cumberbatch-starring superhero film Doctor Strange (out Nov. 4). Now, Marvel Studios president and Doctor Strange producer Kevin Feige has confirmed to EW that Harmon was indeed involved in the brainstorming process for those scenes.

“It is true that he was,” Feige says. “He came in, he watched the movie. We are all big fans of his work, clearly. We at Marvel Studios are fans of Community, it’s where we found Joe and Anthony Russo, who came onboard to do Winter Soldier, and of course Civil War, and the upcoming [Avengers] films. So, we’re big fans of that. We’re also fans of his cartoon Rick & Morty, which is about, of course, humor, but I would argue that any given episode of that show has an unbelievably amazing sci-fi concept that could be its own movie. So, really, we just wanted him to watch the movie, and talk to us about it, and give us his opinions on the sci-fi concepts. That was as important to us as any humor that he could add to the movie. And he was very, very gracious in doing that.”

So, we've known for a while now that Dan Harmon was brought in to do some work on the Strange script. Here Feige is saying Harmon was brought in to give his opinion on the sci-fi concepts of the Dr. Strange movie.

Even though it was shoe-horned in later, the Batman "chapter" of Zatanna's Search has Batman insisting magic doesn't exist, to such a desperate degree, that he hypothesized certain human beings have a genetic ability to alter reality through a medium such a wooden broomstick or wand, which allows them to create animals, alter shapes, dissolve and reaffix solid walls, fly, etc.

That a "genetic" ability to channel energy through wood and do all these things is, well, magic, doesn't occur to him because he just won't let it.

They may offer an in-story out, or even an out outside the story, but it's magic. We're looking right at it. Call it what you like, it's magic.

The Time Stone probably came from Oshtur:

After witnessing children play, Oshtur was moved and gave birth to Agamotto. She instructed Agamotto then left him to undertake the paths of magic.

Oshtur had a fascination with the realms beyond Earth, unlike her siblings. She took to the heavens before the fall of the Elder Gods and their degeneration into malevolent demons. It is unknown for how long Oshtur left earth, but it is presumed to be millions of years. While exploring the universe, she met a companion in Hoggoth, and they eventually departed the Marvel Universe for a mystic dimension, where the two resided with Agamotto.

With Agamotto and Hoggoth, she formed the Vishanti. As even Elder Gods as Gaea require a mate to produce offspring, Oshtur could not have spawned Agamotto alone, and thus would have required another to spawn him; Hoggoth is the most likely mate of Oshtur, though no definite confirmation as of yet has been given.

Oshtur is also responsible for creating the Tome of Oshtur and the Book of the Vishanti.

Now, further to magic in the MCU...

According to Feige, Wanda is drawing power from outside this dimension without realizing it, he even very deliberately uses the word "chaotic". Vision refers to Order and Chaos in his conversation with Ultron. Joe Russo said Wanda's powers are not understood by anyone and go far deeper. On top of that, we have Wanda miraculously surviving a Stark bomb and Hydra experiments. The Stark bomb narratively matches Set's attempt to kill her in childhood, when Chthon intervened and she "cast her first Hex".

Thus, The Other, who gave Loki the scepter, may indeed have been, as many speculated back in 2012, the elemental host of Chthon, especially given the presence of the Darkhold.

It has been speculated that Heimdal has the Soul Stone, if so, this may have been gifted to him by Gaea, who may well be related to Odin in the MCU, just in a different way.

    So...

OSHTUR: Time Stone (gives the Time Stone to Agammoto to aid him as the first Sorcerer Supreme)
CHTHON: Mind Stone (unlocks Wanda's Chaos Magics, mental augmentation grants basic tk and tp as secondary basic powers...Mind Stone becomes part of Vision, making him the bait, the "incentive to challenge" for Thanos to fight Wanda, which Chthon would obviously want).
GAEA: Soul Stone (Given to Heimdal by Gaea, to aid in the protection of the Nine Realms, and keep hidden from evil forces).
