    Anyone who does not put John Byrne on their list needs to study marvel history more. In the 80's Byrne was on fire and could sell anything. To me that is the true test of greatness is if a writer can have hits with multiple books.

    I like Steve Gerber's Manthing and Defenders and Omega the Unknown and Howard the Duck and just about everything he wrote, here and there.
    I like Doug Moench's Master of Kung Fu, and he wrote a Godzilla that was fun and entertaining and imaginative.
