Just read that BL is being developed for tv by Berlanti!! All good news! And it sounds like they are going back to the roots of the character as created by Isabella - the teacher who becomes a hero to help his community, students and daughter. I really wish there was room on the CW so this show could link in with their Arrowverse of shows!
But I would just be glad to see one of my favorite heroes adapted to tv!

Is he getting his own show? AWESOME!
Long overdue, if you ask me. Black Lightning is a great character and a great role model for kids of ANY ethnicity. Why DC has let him languish in obscurity for so long just boggles my mind.

It's awesome to finally see Black Lightning getting his own show and I can't wait to see more news about this project

I wonder if this will tie-in to the Arrowverse, like all of Berlanti's other DC shows? With Jefferson coming out of retirement as a vigilante, I wonder how well he could fit into either Earth-1 or Supergirl's Earth...
I really hope Tony Isabella is involved with this production in some way.

YES! I dont think this is a CW show cause the CW cant handle anymore shows or DC shows for that matter. Fox right now just want cop shows and CBS is of course a no. HBO hopefully?
