Everybody was getting super over X-cited that this would be some Mutant Universe title or some other X thingy and i was all "Meh".
Then they announce it's a Monster book with TOP talent and i am SUPER FREAKING HYPED!
I am liking the little of supernatural we get in Marvel books and LOVED Howling Commandoes (didn't red Carnage because it was freaking Carnage)!

With Bunn as writer I'm pretty optimistic, Magneto was pretty fantastic because of its darker tone.

With so many artists i wonder if it isn't multiple titles.
If so it must be better to diversify the tone between the books to attract different demographics of readers so Monsters Unleashed (?) can be a franchise like they tried to do with Squadron Supreme.

I admit I was definitely underwhelmed by the announcement, but it does sound like an interesting book and one that I think is definitely in Bunn's wheelhouse. Not something I'm really that interested in, mind you, but that's fine .

I imagine with all the different artists attached to it that it'll be an anthology title showcasing different Marvel Monsters.

I also can't help but wonder if this is meant to tie-in in some form to that Hulk animated movie that's being made...

Not at all what I expected, but I am so looking forward to this now. Cullen Bunn excels at this type of stories, and if it's an anthology series featuring all those artists doing monsters? I'm sold.

Even Greg Land did well with the Legion of Monsters one-shots from a while back.
