    Holy crap... I'm struggling to find the words to express just how amazing these are. They are simply beautiful. It's too bad he didn't enjoy the process more, as he is obviously *very* good at it.

    For these paintings I'm feeling struck by how particular they seem, eventhough I was feeling already (happily) acquainted with watercolors and washes of mr. Mike's hand.

    These appear particularly like 'unique windows' or 'stories-by-themselves', more than I could have anticipated.

    It's like I'm surprised but also I'm not surprised at how good all of these are. "Mr Mike Mignola: artist / creator / painter / cartoonist / storyteller". Why not?
